Communication is an essential skill and is just one part of building trust. Effective communication is one area that is fun to build on and grow. We all have messages we must share in a variety of situations; attend and learn a few actionable ways to improve your communication. All are encouraged to attend.

SWE-PNW - Professional Development Event: Building your Resilience Toolbox

Description:The SWE PNW Professional Development Team invites you to join in this fun and insightful virtual session “Building Your Resilience Toolbox” on Thursday September 10, 2026, at 6:30pm PT. Resilience is a hot topic these days. During this session we will sort through some of the basics of what resilience means for those of us in STEM educational and professional areas. Learn ways to build your resilience so you can feel better about the unknown. Some of the session will be based on the rules presented in the book “Rules of Resilience”- Valorie Burton. In the session we will learn some of the easy-to-remember rules presented in the book and other actions that can be put into practice right away.
All are encouraged to attend.
