ASME: Sam Gheesling, April 3rd Tour at Microsoft (and online), moving meetings to the UW?
ASCE: Rom April 10-11 UW hosting concrete canoes,legislative meetings in Washington D.C., along with upcoming events including concrete canoe and steel bridge competition
ASHRAE: Emily. upcoming student night event at the University of Washington Bothell on April 10th.
SME: Andrew – nothing new
SAE – George, section challenges, including addressing membership apathy and website hosting issues, as well as ongoing difficulties finding meeting speakers.
INCOSE – Paul, announced a speaking engagement about software certification improvements at Boeing on April 8th in Bellevue.
IEEE: Dave, no update
IISE, Kaz, considering a merger with another organization due poor participation
SWE – Kelsii and LeSi .PNW’s outreach activities, including participation in the Central Sound Regional Science and Engineering Fair, STEM nights at elementary schools, and upcoming events like the Expanding Your Horizons Conference, Engineering Roundtable, and Earth Day park cleanup. LeSi equested suggestions for keynote speakers 17 May event

Paid website renewal fee of $281
Received a bill of approximately $1000 from Pacific Science center for Engineering Fair exhibitors background checks.
Engineering Fair:
Group discussed bill for Engineering Fair volunteer exhibitors background checks. A proposal was put to the floor for PSEC to cover the cost of the background checks. This was voted on and approved.
Mentor nights
UW Tacoma decided not to hold a mentor night this year.
Luis has made several unsuccessful calls to Green River. No response
