Engineering Fair
This year we are partnering with PacSci on 2/22, all day 10-5 (expect to be there 9:30 – 5:30)
Kickoff for national engineers week
PSEC has been allocated 6 booths out of 15
We have 6 booths, and 8 organizations signed up
ASCE and SWE will share a booth – still need to figure out how to consolidate 2 other organizations into one booth
Background check takes 1-2 weeks – we are running out of time
Marketing information is coming soon – will forward to PSEC reps to promote the event
Detailed logistics need to be confirmed with PacSci – Kelsi will send out to everyone
Parking details will also be shared – load/unload and day parking
No more than 3-4 volunteers per booth
Attendees will need to pay PacSci general admission fee
Need name of booth activity by Friday 2/6 – it is going into the passport book
Mentor nights
Luis could not attend Seattle Central – usually a big event
Rom and Tiffany attended Seattle Central – well attended, well over 50 students, different location but well attended, over 10 mentors, food was well received
Planned Feb 12 at Highline College – group of regulars
Planned Feb 26 at WSU Everett campus – not established, need to get mentors engaged from northend
No feedback from Green River
