The Washington State Science & Engineering Fair (WSSEF) for grade school, middle school and high school students will be held on Mar 27-28 in Bremerton, Wash. Volunteers are requested for judging student projects. Over 500 students are expected to attend this year.

About 100 judges are required for each day of the fair. Please consider serving as a judge Friday, Mar 27th (for grades 1-6), starting at 4 p.m., or Saturday, Mar 28th (for grades 7-12) starting at 9 a.m. until about 3pm. Lunch will be provided on Saturday.

Engineering and science professionals are preferred for judging the older grades (7-12) on Saturday. Judges for grades 1-6 on Friday need less scientific background since the focus is more on encouragement for the students.

The fair will be held at Bremerton High School, 1500 13th St., Bremerton, Wash 98337.

For background on the judging process and other details for volunteers, please refer to the WSSEF judging brochure.

If you are able to volunteer, please register here. The WSSEF head judge is Dr. Mike Huey headjudge@wssef.org
